Duotide fees
We are not going to publish a fee table here — and the reason is in your interest: figures change without notice, and an outdated table on a third-party page is how people make bad decisions about money. What this page does is show where to find the current figure and which costs go unnoticed.
Where to find up-to-date figures
- Go to the transactions or "fees" area inside the platform itself, while logged in;
- Check the table for each payment method — deposits and withdrawals often have different rules;
- Read the costs section of the terms of use, where the less-publicized fees are listed;
- If in doubt, ask support in writing and keep the answer.
The costs nobody advertises
"Zero commission" rarely means free trading. The real costs are usually found here:
- Spread: the difference between the buy and sell price. It is the main cost at most forex and crypto brokers, and it applies to every trade;
- Swap / overnight: a charge for keeping a leveraged position open from one day to the next;
- Inactivity fee: a monthly charge on a dormant account. It eats away the balance of anyone who forgot the account was open;
- Withdrawal cost: a fixed amount or percentage per withdrawal, sometimes different for each method;
- Currency conversion: if you deposit in your local currency (Brazilian reais, for example) and the account is in US dollars, there is a built-in exchange-rate spread;
- Deposit fee: less common, but it exists for some methods.
How to work out the real cost: make a small round-trip trade — buy and sell straight away, without waiting for the price to move. The difference between what went out and what came back is the total cost of that trade, with every fee built in. No table shows this as clearly.
Watch out for bonuses
A deposit bonus is not a fee, but it hits your pocket in the same way: it usually requires a minimum trading volume before allowing any withdrawal. Accepting a bonus can mean being unable to withdraw your own money for weeks. Read the conditions before ticking the box.
